OBJECTIVES
The main objective of “No Digital Divide!”, with this free online course, is to offer a global vision to those students who have never had contact with a digital context before or have very little knowledge. From this knowledge, they can start using these tools both personally and professionally. These tools are the gateway to endless possibilities, both for self-employment and to improve your professional profile. In this free course you will learn to:
– Identify basic digital tools
– Discover how they are used and managed
– Work with basic design tools
METHODOLOGY
The methodology is adapted to the characteristics and needs of each student, combining both programmed teaching and student autonomy, of course with the guidance of a specialized teacher and through the use of new information and communication technologies, creating an active, close and collaborative learning environment in the YesEuropa Academy online Campus. The course is done at your own pace, without fixed schedules. The topics have been opened so that you can freely navigate through the content.
There will be a mandatory final questionnaire summarizing the entire course. Students who pass the course will receive a certificate.
The training actions of “No Digital Divide!” are designed to promote practical knowledge, while at the same time fostering skills, knowledge and experiences relevant to personal and professional development within the scope of the course topic.
The teaching material, the fundamental object of the teaching process, will be made available to the student once their registration has been completed. Students must work on them autonomously, devoting a time that will depend on the individual needs of each student.
Finally, and as support for the student, two face-to-face sessions will be held in Tallinn and Madrid.
As a teacher, I value the individual development of students as well as the discipline in the class. I try to inspire students. My teaching methods are innovative and versatile, helping students to learn creatively and systematically. I support each student on their journey by creating an inclusive and positive learning environment. I believe that a purposeful and caring approach helps students achieve the best results both academically and personally. There is a saying very close to my heart: “Achievements are praised in public, but mistakes are corrected in private.”

Description of the project:
No Digital Divide aims to bridge the digital divide among adults, particularly those over 50, by enhancing their digital skills and fostering a positive attitude towards digitalization. In collaboration with Euroopas in Estonia and Building Bridges in Spain, we offer a series of innovative courses designed to train adults in essential digital tools, focusing on daily life, bureaucratic tasks, and career development. Our course is designed to change negative opinions on digitalization, promote inclusion, and provide strategies for adults to improve their digital skills. Through transnational cooperation, we will exchange best practices, share knowledge, and develop flexible tools that can be utilised across Europe, ensuring a significant and lasting impact on adult education.
Partnership:
The partnership comprises Euroopas and Asociación Building Bridges. The partnership is deeply committed and passionate about digitalization of people in order to guarantee access to better employment for all. This project is not merely about learning the basics of digital tools. It is about fostering a deep understanding of digital literacy and its profound impact on daily life and career development. It is about equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed to confidently navigate the digital world, enhancing both personal and professional growth.
